Normal control subject. Top panel shows motion of the left ventricle with regions color-coded by standard ASE segmentation. The mesh represents the end-diastolic position of the segments. Lower panel shows the volume of each segment as a percent of end-diastolic volume by time normalized to the cardiac cycle length. Note that the timing of peak systolic volume change occurs almost simultaneously in this normal control subject.
